Does Beard Oil Work?

Does Beard Oil WorkBeard oil has been around for centuries, but one of the questions we get asked all the time is whether or not beard oil  works. It's actually a great question. After all, if you're going to plunk down your hard-earned cash on a grooming product, you want to make sure it's going to do something to improve the way you look and feel.

Although a lot of guys have beards these days, relatively few men have taken the time to learn how to properly care for their facial hair. And that's a big part of the reason why most men aren't familiar with the benefits of high quality beard oils.

But here's the good news: beard oil really does work--and with the right information and the right beard oil product, you can be on your way to a better beard in no time at all.

But here's the good news: beard oil really does work--and with the right information and the right beard oil product, you can be on your way to a better beard in no time at all.

How Beard Oil Works

It's easy to forget that facial hair is still hair. And just like the hair that sits on the top of your head, your beard needs to be cared for properly.

Premium beard oil products contain ingredients that take care of your beard's daily maintenance requirements. In some ways, beard oil is an all-in-one solution to several of the issues associated with growing and maintaining a healthy beard.

  • HAIR MOISTURIZERS - Like other types of hair, beard hair has a tendency to become dry and brittle when exposed to the elements, soaps and shampoos. The best beard oils contain sweet almond oil, an all-natural ingredient that tames, softens and moisturizes dry facial hair.
  • SKIN MOISTURIZERS - Dry, itchy skin is no fun. But a lot of guys just accept dry skin as an unavoidable side effect of a bearded lifestyle. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be that way. Jojoba oil and other beard oil ingredients help moisturize the skin underneath your beard and can significantly reduce the itching and scratching you're living with now.
  • MASCULINE SCENTS - Sometimes, good looking beards can smell really bad. It's just too easy for sweat, food odors and other foul aromas to hide beneath layers of otherwise healthy beard hair. Quality beard oils take care of nasty odors with traditionally scented oils designed that mask unpleasant aromas with masculine, pleasing fragrances.

I just started using beard oil a week ago and I can already see the difference. Plus I bought a shampoo in soap bar form to soften the beard before I dry it for oil. I LOVE the oil, I am hooked and must use it everyday now. I will always buy them now. I started with Dollar Beard Club but I plan on purchasing other ones out there now that I feel confident.

I know for a fact beard oil works and boy I sure do regret the days of refusing to purchase it. It’s really become an essential for my daily life now. The anti-itching properties alone make it worth the price. I tend to not be a huge fan of scents and I really like your original beard oil: http://beardedpleasures.com/collections/beard-oil/products/the-original-beard-oil-uncented as well as the Noble Grooming jack oil: http://www.noblegrooming.com/collections/beard-oil/products/jack-beard-oil

These two oils are ideal for me because, personally, I don’t like having my beard oil mix with the scent of my cologne. I’m sure one could compliment the other but I’m just not willing to go through a ton of scents to find that perfect match made in heaven. Thanks for the great read, and anyone reading this, trust me, beard oil is the real deal!
